Returns & Exchanges

We want your ring to feel like it was made for you. If it doesn’t, we’ll help you make it right.


14-Day Window

You have 14 days from delivery to request a return or exchange.


Exchanges

  • First US exchange is on us — we’ll ship your replacement ring free of charge.

  • To send the original back, you can use our prepaid label or ship it yourself.

  • Additional exchanges are welcome; standard shipping rates apply.

  • Your new ring ships once the original is back in our hands and passes inspection.


Returns

  • For store credit: return is free.

  • For refund: use our prepaid label and we’ll deduct shipping costs from the refund, or ship it yourself and receive the full item amount back.

  • Original shipping fees aren’t refundable.


Condition Requirements

Returned items must be:

  • Unworn, without scratches or signs of wear

  • In their original Same River packaging

  • Returned within 30 days of delivery with the RA number we provide

Items that show wear may be refused.


International Orders

  • Customers cover return shipping and carrier fees.

  • Duties and taxes are not refundable by Same River.


Faults or Shipping Damage

If your ring arrives damaged or faulty, contact hello@sameriverstudio.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue and packaging. We’ll repair, replace, or refund — no cost to you.


Non-Returnable Items

  • Final sale items (marked as such, or discounted by 25% or more)

  • Customized pieces (special engravings outside our standard designs)

  • Items returned after the 14-day window


Processing

  • We usually inspect returns within 2–3 business days of receipt

  • Refunds typically post within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank

  • Store credit codes are issued immediately after approval


Sizing Help

Not sure about your size? See our Sizing Guide. Wider bands, like the 8 mm Basho, can feel snug — if you’re between sizes, consider a half size up.
